Community Rules

Adults only

You must be 18 or over. Do not create an account for a child. Do not post, ask for, or send any sexual content involving a person under 18. Do not describe or request the sexual abuse of a child.

If you think a member may be under 18, report the profile in the app and choose the reason “This person may be under 18”. Do not investigate further yourself. [COMPANY NAME] will hide the profile.

How members treat each other

Be direct and respectful. Do not harass, threaten, insult, or pressure anyone. Do not send repeated messages after someone has stopped replying. Do not use hate against a person for their tribe, sex, or any other ground.

Courtship here is intentional. Do not treat another member as an audience.

No scams and no asking for money

Do not ask a member for money, airtime, a gift card, or an investment. Do not offer a loan, a visa, or a business deal. Romance scams are forbidden. [COMPANY NAME] will suspend an account that does this and may keep the report for the reviewer.

Honest profiles

Use your own name, your own age, and photos of yourself. Do not use a stolen photo, a filtered image that hides who you are, or a photo of someone else. The selfie must be a new photo of you, holding two fingers beside your face, not a screenshot and not a photo of another photo.

A profile that is false can be refused or suspended even after it was approved.

No explicit content

Do not post nudity or explicit sexual content. Do not press another member for sexual talk or sexual images. Hearth is for marriage-minded introductions, not for pornography.

Reporting and blocking

On a profile or in a conversation you can report a person or block them.

A report goes to the reviewer. Say what happened. The reviewer may warn the member, refuse the profile, suspend the account, or take no further step. [COMPANY NAME] does not promise to share the outcome with you.

A block hides you and the other person from each other, including an existing conversation. Either person can block. You can remove a block you created, from Settings.

Suspension

[COMPANY NAME] may suspend an account that breaks these rules, the Terms, or the law. A suspended profile is hidden. The member cannot submit it again until it is restored. Serious harm, a scam, or a risk to a child can be suspended immediately.
